Things About Me.
Outside of being a recovering diet coke addict, I enjoy the ever-changing landscape of online marketing (*rolls eyes* that sounds like pre-packaged internet marketing jargon buried in a pile of copious buzzword-themed marshmallow fluff).
Lemme rephrase – I like working online, behind a computer, preferably with my cat Phoebe starring at me longing for the treats I have stored in my office lockers I ordered from a school surplus website. I’ve had pretty good success with getting enough people to believe that I know what I’m talkin’ about that they pay me to do this for them – or they pay to learn from me so that they can do it for themselves. So far, so good.
Things I've Learned.
Sugar Cookie Marketing
Developed a community of shared interests around the sale and marketing of cottage home bakeries.
Target Rocket
Hyper-local SEO, websites, and social media marketing for service-based businesses in Northern Virginia.
Paul Davis Restoration
Online marketing and networking marketing in the franchised insurance restoration space.
Strayer University
Slated to (finally) snag that pricey piece of paper in June 2022, I'll have a fancy business degree and a new frame.
George Mason University
Due to an accreditation issue (thanks a lot Bob), I got the pleasure of doing pre-reqs all again. Yay for learning... twice.
Bob Jones University
My foray into higher education, Bob Jones has an aggressive business management undergrad.

Things I Do.
Community Management
Managing communities in the tens of thousands is not as easy as I was told, but it's just as fun as promised.
Search Engine Optimization
They say you hide a body on the second page of Google because no one will find it. While Googs keeps SEO on its toes, it's entertaining to reverse-engineer (while crying).
Photo / Video Editing
Say cheeeese - or better yet, let me sit down with Photoshop and make you say cheese. Post processing and video editing has been an adventure.
Social Media Management
Connecting with a client's target in a way that gets someone to stop their scroll and tap a like button has been a challenge and an analytical enjoyment.

I went to business school… for way too many years… and here I am learning something new and useful for my business every week - for FREE! The information shared in this podcast and in the group is so valuable! I cannot recommend this podcast enough if you are a baker and want to bring your business to the next level. To the twins - thank you so much, and congrats for creating such an awesome community.

There aren’t many places on the web to get actual positive interaction, let alone positive support for small business bakers. This is that place; actual helpful information. The constructive criticism is heavy on the constructive part and the pages are actually monitored by people who care. 10/10
